I'm Femke and I have been loving animals, and dogs in particular, all my life.
It all started in the cradle, when two Irish Wolfhounds watched over me. Later we got a Scottish Deerhound, a French Basset, his daughter and a Spanish bastard in the family.

Besides dogs I was lucky enough to have four cats, an African Grey parrot and a Beo being part of our family. And at the moment I'm very happy with my two cats and three doggies, a Spanish stray called Flo. A Romanian rescue called James and my Portuguese little Maggie.

During my career in the marketing and communications industry, I started working as a dog trainer at a canine training club. There I discovered my real passion. This went so well that I have chosen a new career path, working with and for animals, in order to follow my heart.

Next to the dogwalking service I run a rescue foundation called Dogs On A Journey. We rescue dogs and cats in Macedonia, Serbia and Romania and rehome them in Holland and Belgium. If you are interested, please visit our website www.dogsonajourney.com

Hi! My name is Sterre, I grew up in Amsterdam. I have always loved dogs ! My family and my mother too. I have actually been around them from a young age and my love for dogs has only grown. I wanted a job I could be passionate about and enjoy. That is why I am now completely at home in the dog walking business and very happy to have met Femke. I have also been taking in dogs on a small scale at home during holidays for a while now, which is great fun. That way they also have a bit of a holiday adventure!
